Trouble Street
The Newport Avenue Album Project and Pub Crawl
This is a music-themed pub crawl and photo project on Newport Avenue in Ocean Beach. Guests form bands of 4–8 people, choose a band name, and create album covers as they move from bar to bar. Each stop has an assigned music genre. At any or at all the stops, bands take one album-cover photo and create an album title for that genre. Props are encouraged — bring your own, borrow from friends, or use whatever you find along the way. There is also one Wildcard Album that can be photographed anywhere, in any style. Upload photos to the private Facebook group using the format: Band Name / Album Title / Location. The goal is creativity, not competition — make it look like a real record.
