🍃 3:00 PM — Tecolote Canyon Band
We kick things off with the Tecolote Canyon Band, my favorite duo on the planet. Rootsy, melodic, soulful — they’re the perfect soundtrack to easing into a beach-side afternoon. Think good vibes, wide smiles, and toes tapping before we even hit the main course.
🔥 4:30 PM — The Tighten-Ups
Then — bam — The Tighten-Ups hit the stage. This ain’t your average backyard band: it’s a full eight-piece juggernaut featuring Laura Jane Willcock on vocals and Joey F’in Harris on guitar, plus horns, rhythm, and pure groove. Soul, funk, blues, rock — they blend it all with enough swagger to make James Brown wink and Stevie Wonder tap his foot.
